    MVNOs, mobile TV and mobile advertising? That's so yesterday. Open access is the new black on the wireless fashion runway. First on the catwalk was AT&T with the venerable iPhone. Sprint tripped its way down with Xohm and Nokia coolly sauntered in with Ovi. But ultimately it was Google that made open access vogue by pushing the FCC for open access rules in the January 24, 2008 700 MHz auction, teasing with its own participation in the auction (which was confirmed on November 30) and by announcing Android and the Open Handset Alliance.
