The LiMo Foundation was founded in January 2007. Its goal of establishing a globally competitive, Linux-based software platform for mobile devices has been endorsed by leading players in the mobile industry. See list of Current Members. LiMo Foundation is well on the path to deliver a commercial-grade mobile Linux operating system for its members, along with APIs and SDKs that can be accessed by members and non-members alike.
